Benefit Solutions, Inc. is a full service consultant and administrator of company retirement plans. We handle all of your plan’s administrative duties so you and your staff can focus on running your business. We focus on Consulting with our clients to design a retirement program that exceeds their expectations, Administration of the program to ensure compliance with the IRS and Communication of the program so the employer and employees fully understand the benefits provided by their employer. Several services we provide are unique to Benefit Solutions, Inc. and will not be offered by our competitors:

  1. We will speak directly with your employees to discuss questions they may have – some typical questions regard contribution limits, distribution options from terminated employees, loan options, etc.
     

  2. We also work with terminated participants directly on explaining distribution options and getting forms signed.
     

  3. Our fees are all inclusive as quoted with no extras for special types of plans or calculations.* You always know what you pay.
     

  4. We are also the only administrator in West Virginia that offers in house Daily Valuation* services for clients.

Benefit Solutions, Inc. has been in business for 19 years, has five employees and administers over 250 plans. Michael Lauhon, a native of Huntington, is the owner of Benefit Solutions, Inc. Mike worked in banking for six years at The Twentieth Street Bank while earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Marshall University. In 1993, he moved to Charlotte, NC to begin his career in the pension field. Since then, Mike has gathered 29 years of experience consulting and administering retirement plans with 1 to over 1,000 employees.

Owner and CEO

Through his 29 years of experience, Mike has earned three designations through the American Society of Pension Actuaries making him the only active Certified Pension Consultant in West Virginia. Mike also has three years of experience as a Financial Consultant. 

*Daily Valuation plans have some extra fees for recordkeeping, etc.
